Programme Overview
The BA/BSc (Hons) Business Management Top-Up degree is designed for learners who have completed a recognised Level 5 or SCQF Level 8 Diploma and wish to progress to a full UK Honours Bachelor's degree. This programme builds advanced knowledge in strategic management, leadership, finance, marketing, organisational behaviour and business research. It is ideal for learners seeking career advancement or progression to postgraduate study such as an MBA.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following:
1. Ofqual Regulated Route – Level 5 (RQF)
Accepted qualifications include:
- OTHM Level 5 Diploma
- Gatehouse Awards Level 5 Diploma
- Qualifi Level 5 Diploma
- Other Ofqual-regulated Level 5 Diplomas in Business or related areas
2. SCQF Route – EduQual Level 8 Diploma
Accepted qualification:
- EduQual SCQF Level 8 Diploma in Business Management or related field
- (Equivalent to RQF Level 5 / HND standard)
Programme Structure
The Top-Up consists of 120 credits at Level 6, completed within:
- 6–12 months (flexible full-time or online modes)
Students complete advanced business modules and a research-driven Capstone Project.
